About

Helping You Find You're Way Back to You.

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable, understood, and able to show up exactly as you are. My goal is to create a space that feels welcoming, genuine, and free of judgment, where you can talk openly about what you’re going through and feel supported as you work toward meaningful change. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2017 and later completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNLV. I work with clients ages 12 and older, including teenagers, athletes, and adults. I have specialized training in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and working with adolescents. I especially enjoy helping teenagers navigate life experiences, transitions, changing relationships, school pressures, identity, confidence, and the many emotional adjustments that come with growing up. I also work with athletes who may be struggling with the immense pressure they feel before, during, and after games, including performance anxiety, fear of failure, perfectionism, confidence concerns, expectations from others, injuries, and the challenge of balancing athletics with the rest of life. For adults, I provide support through difficult seasons, major life transitions, relationship struggles, overwhelming emotions, grief, stress, and times when life may simply feel heavy, uncertain, or stuck. I am a person-centered therapist and believe that every individual needs something different from the therapeutic relationship. Therapy should never feel one-size-fits-all. Some clients may need a space to slow down, process, and feel heard, while others may benefit from structure, practical tools, goal setting, or more hands-on therapeutic approaches. I tailor therapy to the individual in front of me and work collaboratively to find what feels most helpful and meaningful for you. Depending on your needs and goals, I may incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, guided meditation and mindfulness-based techniques, and sand tray therapy. My goal is not to fit you into one specific method, but to use the approaches that best support you and where you are in your life. I also offer a faith-based perspective for clients who would like to incorporate their faith, spirituality, and personal values into the counseling process. Faith is never required or imposed, and therapy is always tailored to your individual beliefs, needs, and goals. Whether you are a teenager trying to make sense of changes in your life, an athlete carrying the pressure to perform, or an adult navigating a difficult season, therapy can be a place where you do not have to hold everything together on your own. You may also get to meet Macy, our service dog, who can join sessions when appropriate. Macy has a calm, comforting presence and can help make the therapy space feel a little more relaxed and welcoming. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you are used to handling everything on your own. My hope is that when you walk into my office, you feel like you can finally put some of that weight down. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can start exactly where you are. Primary Supervisor: Lynne Smith Secondary Supervisor: Nicholas Neubauer (702-806-5268)
